Saturday Canto: When I’m on vacation but there’s still too much stuff happening to ignore.
- Starting off with Mastodon, who revealed everything they were hinting at earlier in the week. Hushed & Grim, their new double album, will be out on October 29th through Reprise Records. Check out the first single, “Pushing the Tides”, right now. Of course, I already snagged my LP bundle.
- And then we have Hypocrisy, who have left me hanging for way too many years following the somewhat underwhelming End of Disclosure. The good news is that “Chemical Whore”, the first track from the (finally) upcoming new album, Worship, is fucking awesome. That will be out on November 26th through Nuclear Blast. Another pre-order locked in!
- All about Nuclear Blast today. Suffocation have announced a new live album, Live in North America, which will be out on November 12th. A video for the first single, “Funeral Inception”, can be viewed right here. Some of the photos in that clip are awesome. Jealous.
- Holy crap and then we have Khemmis. Their next studio album, Deceiver, will be out on November 19th through Nuclear Blast as well. The video for the first single from that album, “Living Pyre”, is available directly below. What a wonderful way to end a week.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
