CANTO: Tombs, Amon Amarth, Xenoglyph, and More

The work week before vacation always sucks, but what are ya gonna do?

  • The most obvious thing to open up with is the massive tour announcement featuring the likes of Amon Amarth, with Carcass, Obituary, and Cattle Decapitation. Those dates are in November and December, and tickets go on sale Friday at this location.
  • If you like trippy, psychedelic black metal, check out the latest from Xenoglyph. They’re streaming Spiritfraud in full over at Decibel (accompanied by an interview). That one is officially out Friday through Translation Loss.
  • Oceans Of Slumber covered “House Of The Rising Sun”, which is pretty dope. That track is featured on Starlight And Ash, which drops on July 22nd through Century Media. Check out that visualizer right here.
  • Withered added some dates over the next few months around their festival appearances. Get the full schedule here, and be sure to drop in on one of these shows if your calendar allows for it.
  • Tombs gave us new stuff today, and I really like Tombs, so that’s the note we’re going to end on. Check out “Murder Legendre” below, the final single from the Ex Oblivion EP. All those tracks will be available on your favorite streaming platform soon enough.
