It’s not a short week… nor a holiday week… but it feels like it should be?

  • I’ve heard really good things about Endling so we’ll open up the news cycle this week with some Kvelertak updates. They released a short film (see also: really long music video) around “Morild”. Check it out here. That album, by the way, is out through Rise Records and Petroleum Records.
  • From there, we dive into the dark and sludgy with the latest from Melancholia. Check out the visualizer for the new single “Caught in Eternity’s Jaws”. Their debut album, Book of Ruination, is out on November 3 through Brutal Panda.
  • Germany’s Beyondition set a release date for their debut album, Abysmal Night. That drops on December 1 through Chaos Records, and you can hear “The Red in the Sky” over at the label’s Bandcamp page.
  • We’ll wrap up with Temic and their video for “Mothallah”. That’s the closing track from Terror Management Theory. Their debut album is set for a November 17 release through Season of Mist.
