It’s grey and gloomy outside this Friday. My personal favorite.
- Ulcerate, a crowd favorite around these parts, are releasing a new album on June 14 titled Cutting the Throat of God, which will be available through Debemur Morti Productions. The first sample from that, “The Dawn is Hollow”, is really freaking good.
- Vault Of Horrors, the latest from Aborted, dropped today through Nuclear Blast… and word on the street is that it’s pretty damn solid! Anyway, check out the video for “Condemned To Rot” if you feel like celebrating that release.
- In case anyone is looking for some synth-y post-punk-y darkwave on a Friday, Cold Cave has resurfaced with the new single “She Reigns Down”. That’s all I’ve got on that front for now, but I think we can expect more news in the near future?
- And some prog-metal because why not…? Night Verses released Every Sound Has A Color In The Valley Of Night today through Equal Vision Records, and a visualizer for “Plague Dancer” is available here. Fun album name, ngl.
- My Dying Bride dropped a new track and video today, titled “The 2nd of Three Bells”, and the video for it is below. That offering, which has been a bit of a grower for me today, is taken from A Mortal Binding. That new album drops on April 19 through Nuclear Blast.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
