I expected this week to be a blitz, and it sure has started that way.

  • Check out this tour lineup: Signs of the Swarm, with Cane Hill, Ov Sulfur, 156/Silence, and A Wake In Providence. That collective is covering North America this coming August and September. The full schedule can be seen here, with tickets going on sale later this week.
  • Out of Pelagic Records, the upcoming new album from Oh Hiroshima is one to keep an eye on. All Things Shining, their fifth album, is out on June 28, and “Deluge” is the latest sample taken from that collection.
  • Sons of Arrakis shared a new single titled “High Handed Enemy”. Volume II is out a week from Friday through Black Throne Productions. And this is a nice reminder that I still need to see the latest Dune movie…
  • How about one more tour? Dayseeker are embarking on a U.S. run at the end of September, where they’ll be joined by Alpha Wolf, Catch Your Breath, and Kingdom of Giants. Tickets go on sale Friday and can be acquired here.
  • I’ve been really digging All Is Dust lately, the upcoming new album from German metalcore crew Neaera. As such, let’s end Tuesday with their new video for the title track. That album is out in a month through Metal Blade.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
