Today was dumb, and I anticipate tomorrow will also be dumb.
- We’ll start with a few recently announced Cold Cave dates this coming September and October, between South and North America. They also shared “Hourglass” over the weekend, which you can check out here.
- Next up, the latest from Throat Locust. They premiered “Crimson (Water Reservoir)” over at Decibel. So, if you need a dose of groove-heavy death metal to tie up your Monday… there ya go.
- Doom trio Norna are releasing their self-titled sophomore album on August 30 through Pelagic Records, and today they unveiled “For Fear of Coming” from that effort.
- Italian death metal collective Husqwarnah have signed on to the Time To Kill Records roster, and are preparing for the release of their second album. That’ll be titled Purification Through Sacrifice, and we can expect it in September.
- If I’m given an opportunity to close with a new Dååth video, you know I’m going to take it. Check out the new clip for “Deserving of the Grave” below. As a reminder, that’s taken from The Deceivers, which is out through Metal Blade.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
