A much needed short work week is over, and an equally as needed long weekend has begun.
- Out of the Florida deathcore scene, we have Tracheotomy. They’ve got a new EP arriving on July 19 via 1126 Records titled Fixated Propensity For Destruction. Check out the video for “Deliberate Dehumanization” here.
- Lions At The Gate, the groove metal band out of LA, released a new single titled “Can’t Feel The Sun”. I’m only sharing this because that is a situation I cannot currently relate to. I feel the sun, very bigly indeed.
- British alternative metallers Defences shared a new single titled “The Almost”. Not a ton to add from there, but they do have some September dates in the UK if you happen to be over there.
- Nice mix of genres tonight, so let’s keep that going with some Finnish doom. Sarajah are releasing their self-titled debut album on July 19 through Argonauta Records, and you can give “I Am the Soil” a listen here.
- And for Josh, we’ll end the day (and week… for me at least) with Demiser. Slave to the Scythe will be out on August 23 through Metal Blade and Blacklight Media. The video for “Infernal Bust” can be found below.
