Ok. So maybe yesterday went off the rails a little bit. But that’s alright, because we’re fully recovered at this point, yeah? No. The answer to that is no.

  • Finland’s Shade of Sorrow released their debut album Upon the Fields of Sorrow back in June through M-Theory Audio, and to keep momentum up a new lyric video for “Gravedigger” emerged today. Starting the week with some melodeath seems legit.
  • We all know how I feel about covering Pink Floyd, right? Simply put… don’t. But you know what? This version of “High Hopes” from The Progressive Souls Collective is alright. Their upcoming covers album, Encore Vol. 1: Sonic Tributes, is out on October 18 through Metalville Records.
  • Alright let’s pick things up a bit with some symphonic metal. Tungsten unveiled the title track from their new album, serving as the final single before its release. The Grand Inferno is out on November 8 through Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
  • Exiled Hope and Steel Forge are joining forces for a new EP titled Realm of the Exiled. That will be out on December 20, so you have some time to kill. The good news, however, is that you can listen to “The Calling” now.
  • The Distinguished Order of Disobedience (The D.O.O.D.), released a lyric video for the title track from their new album, Dissonance. And that’s how we’re ending this Monday. That album was released last week through Chaos Music.
