Not gonna lie, I do like seeing a nice full inbox at the end of a work day! Ok. Most of the time that is, in fact, a lie. But I’m here for it today!
- We’re going to start with a project I am quite excited about. Living Gate, which features members of Amenra, Yob, and Wiegedood, released a new track titled “To Cut Off The Head Of The Snake”. Their debut album, Suffer As One, arrives on October 25 through Relapse Records.
- Quick tour share that kicks off next week, just in time for the season. Goth metal/darkwave entity Vosh are covering North America throughout October and into November. You know what? This sounds exactly like the type of show I want to get to if I can.
- Cinematic progressive act Disconnected Souls released a video for “Monachopsis (A Waltz at the End of the World)”, a track taken from Fragments Of Consciousness. That album dropped today through Layered Reality Productions.
- And then a healthy dose of psych doom. Deaf Lizard presented a new track titled “City of Life” recently. They have a new album coming (obviously), The Last Odyssey emerging on November 1 through Electric Valley Records.
- Was there any doubt how this Canto was going to end? Schammasch shared the second offering from The Maldoror Chants: Old Ocean, titled “Image of the Infinite”. It’s incredible. A different direction, but masterfully executed as always. That album is out on October 25 through Prosthetic Records.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
