Today was gnarly. The outlook tomorrow? Even gnarlier! But it’s cool. We embrace the chaos.

• Let’s start the week with heavy rockers Bonfire. With Higher Ground set for a January 24th release through Frontiers Music SRL, they offered up a video for the new track “I Will Rise”.
• Finnish black metal band .44 are back after a nine year absence. Their second studio album, Bloodlines, will be out on February 7th through Inverse Records. A video for the first single, “Again”, is available now.
• In a different direction, progressive/traditional metallers Sleepless released a lyric video for “Consumed By Vengeance”. That track is pulled from their new album, Through Endless Black, which was released back on Halloween.
• Iron Bonehead Productions announced January 31st as the release date for the self-titled debut from Satanic death metal outfit Balefire. Give “Sands of Gemini” a listen right here.
• And we’ll wrap up with Italian melodic/progressive death metal band Hexabrot. A lyric video for “Lullaby Of The Descent” is available below. That’s the debut release for them, with an EP on the way through Ænima Recordings.
