• Seattle extreme metal band Lacabra released their second single in the form of a performance video, a track titled “Human Quilt”. That comes from their debut full-length, which is planned as an early 2025 release through M-Theory Audio.
• Avantasia, a name I haven’t mentioned in a minute, set February 28th as the release date for Here Be Dragons. That 10th studio album will be out through Napalm Records, and no unfortunately we do not have new material just yet.
• Power metal is a thing today! Dynazty announced their new album, Game of Faces, will be out a couple weeks earlier on February 14 through Nuclear Blast. But this time we do get new tunes. Check out the video for the title track here.
• Finnish melodic death metal outfit Defiled Serenity are releasing their debut album, Within the Slumber of the Mind, on February 21st through Inverse Records. A video for “Exiled To Infinity”, the second single, is available now.
• And to close out, Aeons released a new video for “Machines”. That’s pulled from The Ghosts Of What We Knew, their latest album which can be acquired here.
