This Monday was acceptable. The snow all weekend helped.
- We can start with a dose of punk on a Monday evening. Atlanta-based outfit Reconciler is delivering a three-song EP on March 7th titled, well, Three Songs, and “Stockholm Syndrome” can be heard right now pretty much wherever.
- Ramping it up a bit from there, hardcore veterans Orchid announced their first unreleased music in 20 years. The Skull Sessions arrive on March 7th through Bandcamp, or you can pick it up during their current West Coast run. Tickets!
- For something a little more experimental, we have The Infinity Ring out of Boston. Their upcoming LP Ataraxia is out on March 21st through Profound Lore and the new single “Revenge” can be heard (and seen) here.
- February 12th (Wednesday) is the international release date for the new mini album from German black metal entity Dysangelium. Exxekratus will be out through W.T.C. Productions and you can stream it in full over at the Transmission from the Dark YouTube channel.
- The latest track from Savage Lands, the industry’s first artist-run environmental non-profit, features Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz and Obituary’s Kenneth Andrews. Give “Ruling Queen” a listen below. Army of the Trees is out on Friday through Season of Mist.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
