• The first Planning For Burial album in eight years is on the way. It’s Closeness, It’s Easy will arrive on May 30th through The Flenser. The first single, “A Flowing Field of Green”, is available now. PFB will also be on tour in a few months, covering a good chunk of North America.
• Blood Monolith, a new band formed by Nails, Undeath, Ulthar, and Genoside Pact, will release The Calling Of Fire on May 16th through Profound Lore. Preorders are up and “Prayer To Crom” can be heard now.
• Let’s rush through the rest of these. Swedish melodeath metal outfit Gates of Ishtar have signed on with The Circle Music and are releasing their first new album in… nearly three decades. God damn.
• Tech death project Exterminatus dropped the new single “Cosmic Disturbance”. That’s pulled from Echoes From A Distant Star Part 1, out on April 18th.
• Italian prog metal band Avelion shared the new single “Lost Within Daydream”. The video for it can be seen below. Enjoy. And bye.
