A casual reminder that Salem is still a really cool town.
- We’ll kick things off with some New England death metal. Aversed just released Erasure of Color through M-Theory Audio and to mark the occasion they offered up a live video for “Burn”. That footage is from a gig at The Middle East, a venue I know quite well. So this is cool for me.
- Ah yes. One of those black and white music videos filmed in the woods. Why the fuck not? Here’s the clip from progressive metal outfit Wind Down for “Without Doubt And Illusion”. The Burning Past is set for release on April 18th via Wormholedeath Records.
- German death-doom next. Greh dropped their debut album Dysphoric Devotion back in January through Fetzner Death Records and they recently gave us a video for “All Flesh Decays” from that effort.
- New York City progressive rock outfit Edensong are releasing Our Road To Dust on May 9th and a lyric video for the new track “Hall of Statues” can be seen here.
- Monday will end with The Haunted. It’s been an eight year release pause for the Swedish death thrash crew, but on May 30th they’ll release Songs of Last Resort through Century Media. To get us started, check out “Warhead” below.
