As this pops up on all the feeds I’ll be coming down from a much needed weekend in the mountains where we did all the…nothing things, as it should be. I did however get to peek at this week’s top four new releases and let me just say this Wrath Of Logarius is a friggin’ beast; fast and furious black metal with just enough melody to be dangerous, right up my alley to be quite certain and a good one to experience while sitting by the fire surrounded by trees and wind and…nothing. Next up we’ve got the death metal LEGENDS Benediction with an equally killer album, Florida Man are back with their noxious brand of punk-hardcore-noise and it’s a sweet noise indeed (plus, Florida Man—what’s not to like?!), then we’ve got tech deathsters Allegaeon with a good techy effort that our pal Chuck would be mighty proud of, and then all the rest of what this week has to offer which, I can honestly say, is quite robust. Dig in and explore, we’ll be seeing you here throughout the week.
