The air is crisp, the sun is out, and it finally feels like the miles can start climbing.

• To start we have Changeling, the new project from Tom “Fountainhead” Geldschläger (Obscura). Check out the title track from the upcoming self-titled album. That arrives on April 25th through Season of Mist. “Changeling” Changeling Changeling.
• Next up, legendary doom pioneers Candlemass. With their new EP Black Star coming on May 9th through Napalm Records, they dropped a video for the title track. As a reminder, that EP marks a 40 year anniversary. Crazy.
• The second full-length album from post-black metal quintet Ba’al is on the way. The Fine Line Between Heaven and Here is out on July 18th via Road To Masochist and the lead single “Floral Cairn” can be heard now.
• Ohio sludge metal collective Radian announced a run of shows over the next couple of months while their third full-length album approaches completion. Here is the full schedule.
• To close out the day we have South Carolina metal/hardcore crew Your Spirit Dies. Their debut full-length, My Gnawing Pains Will Never Rest, is set for a May 2nd release through MNRK Heavy and today they offered up a clip for “Unjust God”.
