It’s Friday. I’m drinking a beer. I’m going to a show tomorrow. Things don’t suck.
- It’s a bit grey and cold out. Good atmospheric black metal weather. So! The Great Sea revealed the third track from Noble Art of Desolation, titled “Walking at the Edge of Death”. Their debut album is out on April 24th through AOP Records.
- Danish death metal outfit Baest announced their next album, Colossal, will be out on August 15th through Century Media Records. Check out “Misfortunate Son”, which features ORM, right now.
- Melodic/progressive metal band Severed Angel unveiled the video for “A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing”, a track taken from their new album When Eternity Ends. That came out at the end of March through No Life ‘Til Metal Records.
- Los Angeles-based indigenous death/doom metal tribe Tzompantli announced some live dates around their Fire In The Mountains appearance. Casual reminder that that’s still the best festival in the fucking world and I cannot wait to be there again.
- I will bid you all a good weekend with the new video from King Parrot for “Look Away I’m Hideous”. A Young Person’s Guide To King Parrot is out on June 6th through Housecore Records in North America, and you can catch them in support of Amon Amarth and Pantera in a few months.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
