Another year in which I get to watch playoff hockey stress-free! …lame.

• Another FITM set I’m looking forward to: Blackbraid. Even better? Blackbraid III arrives soon after that festival performance on August 8th. If you happen to be with me at the Red Eagle Campground in July I think we’ll be in for a treat.
• The Lion’s Daughter have made the decision to hang ’em up on their own terms. Their farewell show is on June 21st at Off Broadway in St. Louis. If you’re in the area, you should go. 100% of the proceeds are going to Stray Rescue of St. Louis which is so awesome.
• Abigail Williams have a new album on the way. Hell yeah. A Void Within Existence, their sixth full-length, will be out on July 18th through Agonia Records. Here’s the full scoop.
• SoCal’s Dayseeker offered up a first taste of their new music in 2025. The new track “Pale Moonlight” can be heard (and seen) here.
• And we’ll close Wednesday with UK death metal powerhouse Celestial Sanctuary. A video for “Choking On The Rotten Seed” is below, a track pulled from their Visions Of Stagnant Blood EP. That one is out through Metal Blade.
