Work ran late. The run… ran late. And now Canto runs late. What a time to be alive!
- Opening up, we have North Carolina doomers Cosmic Reaper. They’re releasing a new full-length on September 26th through Heavy Psych Sounds, titled Bleed The Wicked, Drown The Damned. Stream “Pot of Gold” right now to get an early taste.
- Next up, Puerto Rico-based progressive metallers Moths launched their new single “Envy”. That’s the third offering pulled from their upcoming album, Septem, which arrives on August 1st. They’ve got live dates coming up too, if you’re interested.
- WEST COAST DEATH VIOLENCE. Scalp shared a new single titled “Egodeath”. It’s a minute long. You get the idea. Not Worthy of Human Compassion is set for a July 25th release through Closed Casket Activities.
- And a tour. Queensrÿche announced that they’ll be hitting the road in November and December with Accept. It all starts on the 7th in Denver and ticket options are available here.
- Let’s end the day with a long-time favorite of mine: Green Carnation. A video for “In Your Paradise” is below. This is the first sample taken from A Dark Poem, Part I: The Shores of Melancholia, which is out on September 5th through Season of Mist.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
