Mondays tend to be slow. That appears to be consistent today. I’ll take it.
- Finnish thrash to start. Bloodride unveiled a lyric video for “King of Pain”, a track taken from Deafening. Their new album dropped last July through Wormholedeath.
- Not the most breaking news in the world, but I think it’s worth keeping up with the packed touring schedule that Weedeater have lined up. They’re moving again on August 28th and keep at it until early October. Here are ticket links for all of that.
- More thrash! Century Media Records have welcomed Scotland’s Hellripper to their roster, and it seems as though we can expect a new album in 2026. At least we have a teaser to entertain us for now.
- Collaborative blackened death metal project Plague Curse have set October 10th as the release date for their debut album, Verminous Contempt. That one will be released through Adirondack Black Mass and “Most Vile” can be heard here.
- Swedish group Crowne (not to be confused with The Crown or Crown… or some other variations I’m probably forgetting) are releasing Wonderland, their third studio album, on August 22nd through Frontiers Music Srl. Check out the visualizer for “Heaven Tonight” below.
