It was one hell of a weekend, mostly in the woods… as usual.
- Oh this is a very solid way to start the week. Waldgeflüster are releasing a new double album, their seventh, on November 7th. Knochengesänge I and Knochengesänge II will be out through AOP Records and a video for the title-track is available here.
- Death-doom outfit Hooded Menace are leaning into horror vibes as much as they ever have with the new single “Pale Masquerade”. I’ll assume you have their new album, Lachrymose Monuments of Obscuration, on your radar already. That one is out on October 3rd through Season of Mist.
- Ukraine Pagan folk metallers Natural Spirit unveiled a new single
todaya few days ago, titled “Swamp”. That follows a five-year hiatus so be sure jump on that as soon as you have a couple of minutes to spare. - This is interesting. French one-man instrumental symphonic black metal project Souillé shared a video for “Qu’étouffent tes fidèles archanges”, a track taken from L’odeur du mépris. That’s out on October 10th through Wormholedeath.
- Portland, Oregon-based extreme/death metal trio Tithe presented the video for the single “Burn The Throne Of God”, which you can check out below. Their third LP, Communion In Anguish, is out next month through Profound Lore.
