Long week. But, a long weekend, with a long run, coming right up.
- New Soulfly? Sure! Max Cavalera and co. are releasing their 13th album, Chama, on October 24th through Nuclear Blast Records. Check out the lyric video for the first single, “Storm The Gates”, right here.
- Runemagick are releasing their new studio album on October 31st through Hammerheart Records, titled Cycle of the Dying Sun (Dawn of Ashen Realms). The latest offering, “Wyrd Unwoven”, is available for your streaming pleasure here.
- I’m super behind, as usual, on new releases. But Slow Crush was one I had on my list. But have I listened to Thirst yet? Of course not! You can still, however. So start with the visualizer for “Covet” and try to catch them on the road starting next week.
- Thrash-punk band Arson Charge are releasing their debut, A Dying Light, on October 3rd through Anxious & Angry. They just made the second single from that album, “The Aftermath”, available… so you should do that.
- And to close out the week (finally) we have The Jötunn. Admittedly, “Blood Flower” emerged yesterday or the day before, but I’m beyond that level of caring at this point. If you’re looking for some Swedish melodeath/deathcore-type stuff, you’ll dig it.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
