Yesterday was a long one. Today has also been a long one. But at least tomorrow is Friday Eve.
- So I definitely want to start with “The White Cedars”. The new Panopticon single is streaming over at Decibel and I really, really dig it. Jan Even Åsli (Vemod) as a guest vocalist is a good add, and Charlie sounds awesome as always. So, a solid Panopticon track with just a little bit of a twist. Good stuff.
- A quick tour announcement next. Witch Ripper are running across the west side of the U.S. from April 3rd through June 14th (with some breaks along the way), coinciding with the release of Through the Hourglass. Their new album will be out on April 10th through Magnetic Eye.
- How about some Swedish death metal? Vomitory dropped a video for the new single “Wrath Unbound”, taken from In Death Throes. Their new full-length is also out on April 10th through Metal Blade.
- I was just talking about Terror yesterday, so they get the nod today. With Still Suffer out a couple of weeks later on April 24th through Flatspot Records, a new video for “Destruction of My Soul” emerged today.
- Sylosis are kicking off a North American run next week, so we’ll wrap up our day with their new live video for “All Glory, No Valour”. That footage is from a recent performance in London.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
