The 459th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist is weathering the storm along with everyone else, whether it’s the hurricane on the West coasr, or the Nor’easter on the Eastern seaboard. Stay safe, listen to music is my advice. Music like the new Godflesh or The Ocean (they have an entirely new lineup?); I’m currently waist deep in the new 13-hour Joy Division live compilation, so I’ll have to see you on the other side.

A little bit of rain didn’t stop the 9C staff from bringing the pain with their own picks, whether it’s reveling in new Enslaved, spazzing to the new Archspire, laying back in the ripping nostalgia of Goatwhore and…new Artificial Brain? Or simply confounding me with a band like The Man-Eating Tree.
