All kinds of big announcements today. Thankfully I saved enough energy to share a few of them.
- One of the bigger announcements today is the return of Warning. Their first new album since 2006, Rituals of Shame, will be out on June 19th through Relapse Records. Check out this visualizer for “Stations” for a taste of what’s coming.
- The latest new single from Six Feet Under? Sure, why not? Here’s “Mutilated Corpse in the Woods”. Next to Die is out on April 24th through Metal Blade if you needed a reminder. This band has entertained me since I was a kid, and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon.
- Stoner doom crew Solace are dropping their fifth album on July 3rd through Magnetic Eye, titled Fading Failing Ruin. “Beyond Below” serves as the first sample from that one.
- Picking things right back up, we have deathcore outfit Bodysnatcher and “Plague of Flies”. Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home is out on Friday through MNRK Heavy and their tour as part of Chaos & Carnage kicks off early next month.
- I will obviously be ending with my favorite news of the day. Junius are back and have a new album out on June 26th through Prosthetic Records titled Sotera. Yes, I did listen to the new single “Initiatrix” like five times today, and yes it’s awesome. The video for it is below.
