This will be the last post of the week from me. So I bid you all a good (and possibly long) weekend!
- We start with solo pagan black metal entity Serpent Lord and the debut album The Once Forgotten Ways of Old. The one drops on May 29th – next week! – through Eisenwald. Check out “A Pagan’s Spell” here.
- More black metal! But, slightly different black metal! Finsterforst have set July 31st as the release date for their sixth album, Still. That will be released through AOP Records and “Stille Nacht” is available now.
- Ok something (more) different next. Danish sludgy blackened death metal project Gradience shared a video for their latest single “Deathwish”. That’s all we have for now, but it does appear more is on the horizon.
- Blackened melodeath crew Thrown Into Exile unleashed the new single “Behind the Veil” via BLKIIBLK. They’re also supporting Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder on their run later this year, which I know we’ve talked about already.
- And now more pagan metal! We’ll close out with Varg and the new live video for “Ewige Wacht”. That’s taken from their first ever live album, Live at Wolfszeit Festival 2024, which arrives tomorrow through Napalm Records.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
