And, we’re back. Already. The weeks just dissipate these days as winter/spring shifts to summer but there’s no complaining here. Just less time to give a hoot about anything that doesn’t move the needle in the right direction. A new batch of releases always helps move that needle so let’s see what’s in store, yeah? Rhetorical, of course. June kicks off with an incendiary release from one of my faves, Vølus, who do some of the most extreme death metal you’re likely to hear, Converge are back with their second album of 2026 and if you listen hard you won’t hear a soul complaining…for once…, then we’ve got the usually reliable black metal from Horn, annnnnnd all the rest that follow in list form so you can copy/paste and have a ball.
