• Since I saw the name resurface recently I’ve been on a bit of a Fen kick, so let’s lead off with their new single “Abyssal Plain”. The post-black metal crew have Elemental Part One: Mourning Earth scheduled for an August 21st release through Prophecy Productions.
• Portland heavy rockers Hippie Death Cult announced that they have signed on with Blacklight Media/Metal Blade Records. With that news, it’s also worth noting their upcoming tour later this month in North America, followed by a European run a little bit later. Get everything you need right here.
• Oooo I remember an Iapetus album from a few years ago that I really liked. Do I remember what it was called? No! But there’s good news: The Mother Void is out on October 16th through Willowtip. Give “Red Giant” a watch and listen.
