Preseason football is back, baby. Which means it’s almost time for college ball and some Friday Night Lights action at all the local high schools. Even though it’s still hot as balls, I can already feel the fall energy in the air. THIS part of fall is my jam. Speaking of “my jam,” this week’s new release list has a few that fit that bill. Namely the melancholic heavy metal of The Night Eternal that hits that Tribulation meets hair metal niche just right. Next up we’ve got some brutish death metal from Street Tombs then we close with more hair / sleaze / heavy metal from Speed Stroke. And yes, that album is a load of fun. Fun? Hair? In metal? LOL.
