The start of another week. Just as frustrating as the start of the previous week! At least I managed to sneak a run in today.

  • Since Finnish melodic death metal has been near the top of my playlist for the last several days, let’s start with another dose of that. Lights To Remain are set to release their second album, Shattered Reality, sometime next year through Inverse Records. The first single, “Into the Unknown”, can be seen and heard here.
  • Looks like there’s another AOP release coming up I’ll need to keep on my radar. Somn have Consecration arriving on November 20th and today they unveiled the second offering from that, “Swarming Mass”.
  • Digital Negative, the industrial/electronic project formed by Richard Johnson (Drugs Of Faith, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Enemy Soil) and Daniel Euphrat (Person918x, Timmy Sells His Soul, Bodied), have a new compilation coming next month titled Collected Assets. That’s a November 13th release with Mold Dominion and “Outgroup” can be streamed here.
  • Last but not least, Gradience gave us a video for “Vermin, a track taken from their recent Metal Blade release, Anomaly. Check it out below. Additionally, they also announced a debut UK run that will take place early next year.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
