I feel like I might be on the upswing finally? Which is great. Because I’m going to another show this weekend.
- US death metal veterans Monstrosity are releasing Screams From Beneath The Surface on May 13 through Metal Blade and today offered up a clip for “The Atrophied”.
- Staying with the dark and heavy, Vancouver black/death metal entity Egregore are releasing It Echoes In The Wild a week later through 20 Buck Spin. It’s going to be a big year for that label apparently. Give “Servants Of The Second Death” a watch and listen.
- Norwegian black metal project A.H.P. are releasing their second album, Alltid Imot Deg, on March 21st through Purity Through Fire (with a vinyl release following a few months later). Here’s “Lust for Murder” to serve as a preview.
- Alright, it’s time to mix it up a bit from here. Next we have metalcore crew Wage War and “Song of the Swamp”. That’s a sample from a new EP out on April 17th through Fearless Records titled It Calls Me By Name. They also have a tour kicking off on April 28th, and here’s the full schedule for that.
- And to close out, new stuff from Eihwar. The curious Nordic group are releasing Hugrheim on March 13th through Season of Mist and a video for “Heill Óðinn” can be found below.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
