I think this is the first time since we started the Horns Up blog (and this Sunday Side-Splitter series) that I actually need a hangover cure. It’s been some kind of weekend, folks–from a 25th birthday celebration on Friday to a housewarming last night that saw me pass out on the subway back and completely bypass my stop, I’ve put myself through the wringer over the past few days. So yeah, the timing of this post really couldn’t have been better. I’ll stop talking now and get into it–this week’s Sunday Side-Splitter is: Morbid Fails.

For those who aren’t familiar, the Morbid Fails Tumblr page launched in conjunction with the release of Illud Divinum Insanus, Morbid Angel’s much-maligned eighth studio album, in 2011. And it basically exists solely as a depository for memes making fun of the record. Some examples?
