Long weekend over… so let us commence one of the longest short weeks of the year. At least Solstafir’s Otta came out today. That’s a thing I’m sure I won’t hate. On a side note, anyone else annoyed as shit by this excessive humid weather? Wait… you mean not everyone lives in the northeast? Sorry about that.

• So damn. Here are some words on new material from In Flames and The Haunted. Full albums available for streaming. Very different directions for these two bands. The reactions are even more aggressive.
• Details for Z2, details for Z2! Release date is October 28th. Same day as At The Dates. Dope as fuck. This reminded me of how excited I am for Devin’s tour with Animals As Leaders this year.
• Speaking of At The Gates, in case you haven’t noticed, Tom G Warrior is not a fan. Just a touch of friction regarding a tour together this coming December.
• Emil Werstler has left Chimaira. I can’t say much for the band, but I do know for a fact that Werstler is a very, very talented man.
• Pepper Keenan is going back to Corrosion of Conformity! …In 2015. Still though, that’s just swell. 2006 seems like a long time ago.
• Metal in the wrong places is one of my favorite things of all time today!

The swings had me lol’ing all the way home. Anyway. There’s pizza to eat and beer to drink. So I will catch ya’ll on the flipside.
