And we’ve reached another week. It’s been a busy day out there, so let’s see what’s going on:
- To start, it’s been confirmed that Mayhem Fest is officially done. A solid eight-year run ended in less than positive fashion after this summer’s run of dates. Not to mention the poor attendance. Shame. Kinda.
- Tour announcement! Nile will be hitting the road early in 2016. It is a 31-date tour that will be done solo, with only local supporting acts sharing the stage with the group.
- For those unaware, Slipknot bassist Alex Venturella collapsed mid-set last night and was rushed to the hospital. The cause was severe dehydration, but it appears all is well now and he will be performing with the band tonight.
- Y’know, it’s been too damn long since we heard anything Rammstein-related. On cue, the band teased something called “In Amerika” on their YouTube Channel earlier today. Hmm…
- Hey look, The Atlas Moth are still doing things. Check out the new video for “The Sixth Passenger is Death”:
This track will be featured on the band’s upcoming split with KEN Mode. Fun stuff. Anyway, I’m out.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
