Corey’s hiking so you’ve got me for these tonight. And I’m late, because work. Oh well. Here’s what we missed today:
- Leading off, Pentagram has announced a quick, two-week tour of the northeast to support their upcoming album, Curious Volume. Good news for anyone who hasn’t yet seen Bobby Liebling’s decaying corpse in action! (This guy.)
- Guys, I don’t think Corey Taylor likes pop music all that much, do you?
- Ovid’s Withering has disbanded following allegations that guitarist Aaron Rodriguez had been soliciting child pornography over the Internet. I don’t really know these guys, but kudos to the rest of the band for *gasp* taking a clear stand and a resolute action in this situation. More people could learn from that example.
- Any Coheed and Cambria fans here? The band revealed the very un-Coheed cover art for their upcoming album, The Color Before the Sun. Me likee.
- And finally, The Atlas Moth dropped a music video for a new song, “The 6th Passenger is Death.” Check it out:
That’s on their upcoming split with KEN Mode. I’m now even more excited to be seeing these guys in a couple of weeks. Anyway, that’ll do it. Later, kids.
Keep it heavy,
Dan
