I’m back! After an epic weekend in the mountains and, well, everywhere else across New Hampshire, I’m finally back in the mix. Needless to say, it’s going to take me all night to catch up on Nine Circles things, so I may as well start here.
- In case you didn’t know why we are in love with Abbath, allow this to serve as a reason. The wonderful specimen that he is decided to tour London in his corpse paint and it’s incredible.
- In similar amusement, Sabaton frontman Joakim Brodén will be walking 323 miles to the band’s next gig because he lost a bet. Credit to him for taking it so seriously.
- In less fun news, Aborted have lost guitarist Danny Tunker. He’s been in the band since 2012 but has been balancing several other side projects. He’ll be around and I expect Aborted to find a replacement soon enough.
- Borg Ward, a punk and metal venue in Milwaukee, has closed its doors to metalcore. Apparently a recent run of shows has led to some destruction. People, much like metalcore, can be dumb.
- Everyone has been really excited about Ghost‘s Meliora. Well here is a pretty cool track that wasn’t on it called “Zenith.”
Neat. Kinda catchy. Such Ghost.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
