Savannah based proprietors of heavy music, Kylesa are admittedly exploring new terrain on their new album Exhausting Fire. The band has added goth, new wave and psychadelia into their generally heavy, forward surging sound. To support that album the band has embarked on a lengthy tour snaking through the lower United States like a prospector in search of that elusive fist-sized rock of gold. In another move, the band got together with Skip Terstra to put together an unsettling and jilted video for their single, “Lost and Confused.”

The video features two heavily tattooed junkies clad in finery befitting of a slightly higher station as they attempt to figure out their lives. In doing so they make typical junky choices and take typical junky risks. Interspliced with the best plotline are shots of Kylesa playing live that highlight their now heavily psychadelia influenced sound (which has apparently bled into their stage performance). With the band admitting that the album was more emotionally personal than any prior effort, there are many ways in which this video could he interpreted.
