Last week I randomly ran across a quote that made me almost split my sides laughing. Monday’s are for pick-me-ups so I’m sharing: “Some people just need a high five. In the face. With a chair.” Ever since, I’ve tried to keep track of how many people I run across that this would apply to and I’m into double digits so far. It’s a fun game, you should try it. Anyway, new metal? Absolutely. What exactly? Follow along…
Atmospheric and highly emotional black metallers Clouds Collide return with a juggernaut of an album and we got a track premiere (link below) so hop to it, Sculpted Horror keep the old, dingy death metal crypts righteously infected with their new EP, Cable blast out of a ten plus year silence with a new offering of sludgy, noisy, dirgy anthems just in time for the dog days of summer, and Throes get equally as nasty on their full length debut but with hardcore and post-metal thrown in the mix.
Jump in and explore. And, remember the high fives game. It’ll be our little secret.
