CANTO: Blind Guardian, Amorphis, Hath, and More

There’s a massive of pile of awesomeness today, so let’s see what five or six items I care about most.

I think we should start with Blind Guardian because that’s always a party. Here’s a video for the new single, “Deliver Us From Evil”. That should a offer a decent glimpse of what’s to come on their next full-length, which should be out next September. Get excited.
And then we’ll jump over to Venom Prison, who released a new track titled “Pain of Oizys”. That’s a new one taken from Erebos, which is out on February 4th through Century Media. Pre-order that one here.
Stopping by Season of Mist real quick, we have a new video from The Old Dead Tree to share today for “This is No Farewell”. That’s taken from the 2005 release, The Perpetual Motion. If you’re feeling some dark metal on this gloomy day, you’ve come to the right place.
And then over at Prosthetic we have some new stuff from Abhoria. They dropped a new single, “False Idols”, the latest from their upcoming self-titled debut album. Pre-order it here.
Somebody on the Nine Circles team mentioned Hath as a reason to get excited, so here are the details behind their new album. All That Was Promised is set for a March 4th release through Willowtip Records. Pre-order it through Bandcamp, where you can also check out the new track, titled “Kenosis”.
Since I’m me, we’re going to close with the new video from Amorphis, for “The Moon”. Halo preorders have also become available here. That album is set for a February 11th release through Atomic Fire Records.
