Not too sure what’s so good about this Friday, aside from the fact that I’m back in the 313 in about 12 hours.
- Let’s lead off with some funeral doom. Mournful Congregation are dropping The Exuviae Of Gods – Part II on May 26 through 20 Buck Spin. Preorder that, and stream “The Forbidden Abysm” over on Bandcamp.
- Tokyo death metal outfit Defiled shared a new track, along with a music video, titled “Red World”. That one is taken from their new album, The Highest Level, which is set for an April 28 release through Season of Mist.
- Out of the Prosthetic Records camp, Dawn of Ouroboros unveiled another track from Velvet Incandescence, titled “Testudines”. As a reminder, their sophomore effort is out on April 21.
- I’ll see myself out with a couple of Nuclear Blast things. First, Arrival of Autumn released a music video for “Ghosts”, the second single taken from Kingdom Undone. That album is out May 26.
- And then, as I depart for a long weekend, we have an offering from Malevolence. Check out the music video for “Waste Of Myself” below, taken from The Aggression Sessions. That collection is out through Nuclear blast on CD and vinyl on July 21. Catch ya Wednesday.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
