Donuts & CANTO: Tsjuder, Dååth, The Amity Affliction, and More

Knocking this out real quick before birthday festivities… which mostly involve me being alone in the woods.

  • We’ll start with Dååth, who dropped a cover of Death’s “”The Philosopher”. I have mixed feelings about certain things being covered, but I must say this is quite good. And I think we’re getting an album later this year maybe!
  • Rivers of Nihil released some live session footage as part of Audiotree’s From Nothing series. The clip actually includes Jake Dieffenbach on vocals, with the material coming right before their split, closing that chapter for the band.
  • New stuff from Tsjuder! The next single taken from Helvegr, titled “Iron Beast”, can be heard here. As a reminder, that album is set for a June 23 release through Season of Mist.
  • Static Abyss is dropping a new album on June 30 through Peaceville titled Aborted Reality. Yesterday they unveiled a new single from that, “Wormskinned”, which you can check out here.
  • And I’ll see myself out with the latest from The Amity Affliction. Check out the video for “Not Without My Ghosts” below. That’s the title-track from their new album, out on May 12 through Pure Noise.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
