After doing plenty of damage in the Finger Lakes, it’s time to get back into a groove.
- We’ll start with Horrendous, who graced the cover of Decibel and offered a new sample from Ontological Mysterium. Give “Preterition Hymn” a listen here. As a reminder, that new album is out on August 18 through Season of Mist.
- Uada unveiled the second single from Crepuscule Natura, titled “The Dark (Winter)”. That can be heard here now, and on all streaming platforms this coming Friday. That new album is out on September 8 through Eisenwald.
- Folk/black metal project Finsterforst are releasing a mini album on September 8 as well, titled Jenseits. That will be available through AOP Records, and you can give “Kapitel I: Freiheit” a listen here.
- Just gonna quickly drop this in as well. GWAR stopped by NPR to perform as part of their Tiny Desk Concert Series… and it is completely worth a few minutes of your time.
- Wrapping up, we’ll align ourselves with the dense mid Atlantic air with some doom. The latest from Godthrymm, a new music video for “Devils”, can be found below. Distortions is out August 18 through Profound Lore.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
