Sorry for neglecting you all last night. The stars aligned and I finally got to see Tool in person. So actually I’m not sorry for neglecting you at all. Yeah, that’s more accurate.
- Opening up, Amaranthe released a new single titled “Outer Dimensions”, which came with a video you can see here. That track is taken from The Catalyst, the upcoming new album available on February 23 through Nuclear Blast.
- Melodic death metal crew Hiraes are releasing their sophomore album through Napalm Records on January 26, titled Dormant. The leading single emerged today, “Through The Storm”, which is available for your viewing and listening pleasure here.
- Next up, Extortionist dropped new material from their upcoming new EP, Devoid. Give “A Grim Disconnect” a listen here. That collection is set for a December 1 release through Unique Leader Records.
- The biggest news of the day most certainly came from Ihsahn, who is releasing a new self-titled album on February 16 through Candlelight. It will be presented in two forms, one metal and the other orchestral. The video for the metal version of “Pilgrimage To Oblivion” is below (and the orchestral version can be heard here).
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
