Thursdays are always interesting in the inbox, and today is proving no different. Some pretty solid new tunes though, I’m not gonna lie.
- In search of some amusement, we’ll open with Party Cannon. They just signed a deal with Unique Leader Records and are releasing a new album on April 26 titled Injuries Are Inevitable. A video for the new single, “Weird, But Not Illegal”, is available now. I love every ounce of this ridiculousness.
- Next up, Hamferð, and their death doom out of the Faroe Islands. They unveiled a monstrous new new track (and video) titled “Hvölja”. No, seriously, it’s enormous. Their new full-length, Men Guðs Hond Er Sterk, is out on March 22 through Metal Blade.
- Mixing things up rather aggressively, we’ll go to some dark folk next. Check out this clip from Suldusk for “Mythical Creatures”. It’s quite pretty. Anthesis is officially out tomorrow through Napalm Records.
- Alright, back to the heavy. Attila dropped a new single titled “Timebomb”. They’ve got a busy few months ahead of them, first touring Europe in March and then North America in April and May. Here’s that schedule if you need it.
- Closing out, a track I’ve been listening to on repeat today. The video for “Vae Victis” from Necrowretch can be seen below. That’s a cut from Swords of Dajjal, which is out now through Season of Mist.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
