Motivation has been a challenge today.

• We’ll start with Gatecreeper, who released the new track “Masterpiece of Chaos”. Dark Superstition is out on May 17 through Nuclear Blast, and just a reminder they’re on tour supporting In Flames starting later this month. I’ll be there, and I’m excited about it.
• Mono are marking their 25th anniversary with a new album, Oath, which gets here on June 14 through Temporary Residence Ltd., Pelagic Records, and New Noise. Check out the video for the title track right here.
• Cult of Erinyes are releasing their fifth studio album, Metempsychosis, on May 24 through Amor Fati Productions. So if you need some fresh black metal, keep this one on your radar.
• GWAR have some live dates coming up in June (with Weedeater, X-Cops, Squid Pisser), and then later in September (with Brujeria, BRAT, Cancer Christ). Here’s everything you need to know.
• Blood Incantation are performing at Roadburn this weekend, something I will sadly not be attending, but we can end with their new video all the same. Check out the visualizer for “Luminescent Bridge” below.
