Today was a nice reminder that running in the woods is a whole lot harder than running on the roads. Oh, and in other news, there were A LOT of announcements today. Let’s hammer out a few of them…

• First, Zeal & Ardor have a new album coming on August 23 titled Grief. Preorders kick off this coming Friday, but give “to my ilk” a listen now.
• Next, Hail Spirit Noir are returning with their fifth album on June 28. Fossil Gardens will be out through Agonia Records and the first single, “The Temple Of Curved Space”, premiered today.
• I’m starting to get excited about the new Unleash The Archers, so let’s check out the third single taken from Phantoma. A video for “Seeking Vengeance” is available here, and that album drops on May 10 through Napalm Records.
• While I wasn’t crazy about “The Witch”, I’m still excited about new Four Stroke Baron more generally. As a reminder, Data Diamond is out May 31 through Prosthetic Records, and the latest new single, “Cyborg Pt. 3 (Because I’m God)”, is available now.
• Alright let’s start winding this down. Tech death crew Cognitive are releasing Abhorrence next month through Metal Blade… and I can’t remember if we’ve mentioned that before. Either way, check out “A Pact Unholy” right here.
• Finally, Rotting Christ continue to unveil more material as the release of Pro Xristou draws closer. Check out the animated video for “The Apostate” below. Their 14th studio album is out May 24 through Season of Mist.
