I’m currently drafting this post up while sitting on my deck drinking a beer next to my dog. This could be a worse Monday.

• Let’s start with some post-core… because I don’t exactly know what that is. Italian project Origod are releasing a new album on May 31 through Argonauta Records, titled Impression. Naturally, they shared a new single, “When They Lock The Door”, along with a video.
• Decibel is turning 20 this year, which is pretty crazy, and they’re throwing themselves quite the party. Check out Autopsy, Horrendous, Immolation, and many more on August 31 at the Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia.
• Next up, some industrial black metal out of Costa Rica. Dusk are releasing Industrie, they’re fifth full-length, on May 30. But if you’ve been following along you already knew that. But today they shared “Industrie VI”, the last offering from that effort.
• Time to work in something doomy. Finnish outfit Grain Of Pain have signed on with Noble Demon and unveiled the first single from their debut album. Give “The Moon Lights the Way” a listen here.
• “And because I’m me, we’re going to end with the latest new music video from Dååth for “Unwelcome Return”. As a very casual reminder, The Deceivers is out now through Metal Blade… and it’s amazing.
