• Let’s start with one beast of a tour. Frozen Soul, Creeping Death, Gates To Hell, and Enforced. Those dates are later this summer, kicking off on July 12 in Oklahoma City. Tickets are on sale now.
• Bay Area death/thrashers Laceration are releasing their second album, I Erode, on July 26 through 20 Buck Spin. Check out “Excised” and get your preorder in over on Bandcamp.
• Norwegian powerviolence and grindcore trio Rat Lord also have their second album on the way. Blazed In The Northern Sky arrives on August 30 through Loyal Blood Records. “Raised on Kneipp” is now playing via IDIOTEQ.
• Oni, the heavy metal veterans out of Canada, revealed an anime music video for their latest single, “Control”. They’ve got some summer dates in support of Crown the Empire coming in August as well.
• I like the idea of kicking off the weekend with some Blind Guardian. They announced a re-recorded version of Somewhere Far Beyond will be out on August 2 through Nuclear Blast, and a video for “The Quest For Tanelorn (Revisited)” is available below.
