An hour of trail running was necessary after work today.

  • First, God Is An Astronaut announced a new album. Embers will be out on September 6 through Napalm Records. The first single “Falling Leaves” is streaming now, and the video for it can be seen here.
  • Amiensus are following up Reclamation: Part 1 with, well, Reclamation Pt. II. That continues where the progressive black metal entity left off in April, and is out on August 30. Check out the leading track “The Distance” right now.
  • Armored Saint shared a rendition of “One Chain (Don’t Make No Prison)”, a track originally written by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter and first released by People in 1970. Check out the video for that one here.
  • American black metal entity Nighthämmer are releasing their debut album on June 28, titled Land of Fear. That will be out through Inferna Profundus Records and you can preorder it over on Bandcamp.
  • Out of Pelagic Records And So I Watched You From Afar released their latest single, titled “North Coast Megafauna” (awesome). Check out the video for it below. Megafauna, album number seven for them, is set for an August 9 release.
