Not the best of days, but a trail run did help ever so slightly.

• Let’s start with Ingested, one of my recent favorites. The UK death metal trio released a new video for “Starve The Fire”, taken from The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams which dropped back in April through Metal Blade. Catch them on the road with Fleshgod Apocalypse and Shadow Of Intent in a couple of months.
• Perverse black metal? Ok. Horns & Hooves are releasing a new mini-album on August 16 in partnership with Stygian Black Hand and Invictus Productions titled Spectral Voyeurism. Check out “Waiting for Creation” over on Bandcamp to get yourself started.
• For some more traditional heavy metal Stryper announced details around their 12th studio album. When We Were Kings arrives September 13th via Frontiers Music Srl, and you get TWO new singles from that one: “Loves Symphony” and “Grateful“.
• And we’ll wrap up the week (for me) with some deathcore. Tracheotomy are dropping their new EP on Friday titled Fixated Propensity For Destruction, out through 1126 Records, and today they offered up a visualizer for “Stifled by Dominance”.
